Please join us for the first film in our regular Thursday evening screening and discussion series.

Dark Days follows the surprisingly domestic world of a homeless community who have taken root in a train tunnel beneath New York City, braving dangerous conditions and perpetual night. Through their intimate stories, tunnel dwellers reveal their reasons for taking refuge and their struggle to survive when faced with eviction.

Snacks, wine and soft drinks will be provided with support from the Goldsmiths SU Academic Communities fund.

The Cities on Screen series is designed to be an informal, student-led space for sociology students and others to reflect on and discuss issues and ideas related to city life. Curated by Sophie Porter and Emily Ballard, MA Cities and Society.

If you have any questions or accessibility requirements please email us.
