In this talk, Dr Wayne Mullen will present examples of his work in organisations that illuminate the importance of understanding systems and dynamics.

It is our pleasure to welcome to Goldsmiths Dr Wayne Mullen, Global Head of Human Resources at the Workshop companies – software, data science, gaming, fintech, and marketing businesses. Wayne will discuss his own experience of studying occupational psychology and the value it can bring to organisations. He will also discuss the importance of building credibility in organisational consulting.

Previously Wayne held roles as Head of Global Leadership and Capability at King, Global Head of Leadership and Organisational Development at VTB Capital, and Head of Leadership and Development for Standard Bank’s international investment banking business. Wayne has worked in OD/OE consulting both internally and externally with organisations including: The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Barclays Capital, National Australia Bank, Ericsson, Vodafone, The Home Office, Siemens Business Services, Standard Bank and Schlumberger Sema. His work has featured in The Independent, Coaching at Work and Finance Week. He holds an MSc in Organizational Behaviour (Occupational Psychology) and a Doctorate in Leadership and Organizational Development (awarded the Ken Goulding Prize for Research Excellence).
