Lara Montefiori, Chief Scientist at Arctic Shores will speak on developments in game-based assessments and gamification.

Arctic Shores specialise in gamified psychometric assessments. The assessments are developed by psychologists, scientists, software developers and graphic designers. By combining psychometric assessments with predictive analytics and AI technology, Arctic Shores provide clients with a powerful tool to complement human intuition in the hiring process.

Game-based assessments can be considered a more engaging and immersive alternative to traditional psychometric tests. Candidates complete a series of ‘levels’ that capture data points without the process feeling like a high-pressure test situation.

Arctic Shores assessments are grounded in validated psychological models of intelligence, personality and cognitive neuroscience, using real behaviours to create a psychometric profile, following strict standards of the British Psychological Society and reviewed by independent subject matter experts.

Lara will speak about the development of game-based assessments, and their predictive properties compared to conventional psychometric tests.
