A one day symposium that explores issues associated with urban image making in the context of neoliberal urban policies on the development of our cities.
After two very successful events in April 2017 and 2018, we are keen to continue the dialogue about how we engage with urban life in our image-making practices in the 21st century. Through theoretical debate and a diverse selection of visual stories, the symposium addresses issues associated with the impact of neoliberal urban policies on the development of our cities.
Speakers will include: Professor Caroline Knowles, David Kendall, Gill Golding, Dr. Alison Rooke, Dr. Stephen Pritchard, Dr. Susan Hansen and Hannan Majid/Rainbow Collective
Entry is free, but booking is essential via https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/engaging-in-urban-image-making-symposium-tickets-59163881763
