Goldsmiths’ Digital Arts Computing students' 5th annual exhibition

Goldsmiths’ Digital Arts Computing students are pleased to invite you to their 5th annual exhibition ‘Cancel Me Not’, showcasing artwork from all 3 years of creative and critical digital arts practice.

Private View: 9 May 2019 19.00 - 22.00
Open to Public: 10 - 12 May 12.00 - 17.00

As students we are on the forefront of evolving a digital arts practice in the 21st century. A diverse range of media, including interaction installation, sculpture, and virtual reality, will be employed in a grand scale exhibition. Through the words ‘Cancel Me Not’, based on a poem from the science fiction work of Stanisław Lem, we ask; how should we orient ourselves in a world that seems to be approaching increasingly catastrophic destinations? For what shall remain once the future is cancelled? Each artist’s work in ‘Cancel Me Not’ is an endeavour to weed through the messy garden of our omnipresent electronic surroundings. Located at St James Church, Goldsmiths.

We look forward to seeing you there.
