How can participatory arts help refugees share their stories, process difficult experiences and challenge stereotypes?

Migrant? Asylum Seeker? Refugee?

This day of free workshops, presentations and provocations brings together NGOs, museums, academics, refugees and members of the public to explore how refugee led arts experiences disrupt and reinforce identity and stereotypes.

A series of interactive workshops will be followed by presentations and discussions, with a Keynote address given by Magid Magid, activist and former Lord Mayor of Sheffield.

Contributors: Horniman Museum and Gardens, Women for Refugee Women, Abu Ansari & Nour-Ani Sisserian.
