A night of live new music and performance from the next generation of artists from Lewisham

With special guests King Vito, Abimaro Gunnell, Andrea Phillips, James Creed, Scott MacDonald and Tomáš Kašpar.

Where are we gonna go?
How are we gonna get there?
What are we gonna learn?
From everything we've seen...
It starts from within
from where your roots are,
Use your gifts wisely,
Don't take this lightly.

Alchemy is a professional creative music lab for 14-18 year olds from local schools who meet every Saturday in the Goldsmiths University music department, collaborating to create original music and develop performance, composition and production skills. They work with professional and student musicians and producers, with additional support from youth work students from the University's Social, Therapeutic and Community Studies (STaCS) department.

Alchemy Goldsmiths is directed by musician and associate lecturer Mikey Kirkpatrick, and runs in partnership with Goldsmiths widening participation, music, STaCS, the Albany Theatre Deptford, Addey and Stanhope, Deptford Green and Prendergast Vale schools.
