“Pan-Afrikanism and Garveyism in late 19th and 20th century Guyana”

Professor Nehusi, himself Guyanese-born, will deal with the development and impact of these two ideologies on pre and post-independence Guyana.

He is a multi-disciplinary scholar and former lecturer at the University of East London. He is the recipient of numerous honours from different parts of the world and holds concurrent professorships at both the University of Guyana and Temple University in Philadelphia, USA.
