Chaotic cabaret featuring a line-up of Goldsmiths academics who will delve into the weird and wonderful side of their research.

What happens when you fill a library with lovely people, booze, then invite loads of amazing researchers to entertain them?

Join us at Goldsmiths Library Social Learning Space on Thursday, 3 October as Goldsmiths researchers take you on a high-speed dash through their chosen subjects. Expect laughs, facts that sound totally made up but aren't, and loads of terrible PowerPoints.

Hosted by comedian and compere Steve Cross.

Line up:

_ Sarah Cox (History) Grappling With History: The Search For Jack Wannop And His New Cross Wrestlers
_ Caspar Addyman (Psychology) Answers to the meaning of life
_ Dash MacDonald (Design) Protesteroo: Re-routing Hope & Resistance
Gustav Kuhn (Psychology) Lessons in the Sinister Art of Misdirection
_ Clare Finburgh Delijani (Theatre and Performance) “You Say You Want a Revolution: May 1968 and the Situationist International”
_ Marie Alix (Feminist Media Studies) 10 Things I Hate About 10 Things I Hate About You (1999)
_ Jesse Wolpert (Computing) Digital Alter Ego

Doors at 7pm. 7:30pm start.

All proceeds from the bar will go to the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust.
