Open notation and indeterminacy in music loosen the composer's control, allowing for greater than normal variance between performances. Following their recent performance of Cornelius Cardew's monumental and completely non-prescriptive graphic score 'Treatise', members of Outline Ensemble will perform a series of pieces that use fluid structural frameworks to govern the performance of specific material.

Programme:
Dream - John Cage
Lake Eden - Mary Jane Leach
Buddha - Julius Eastman
Burdocks V & VI - Christian Wolff
Cartographies I - IV - James Creed (premiere)
