Hosted by the Contemporary Music Research Unit, Visiting Research Fellow and violinist Peter Sheppard Skærved presents Caprice 2 "Finding the Form, Telling the Story".

**NB this event has been re-scheduled from 28 November **

Tonight's event is the second of two salon evenings, with guest artist and writer Joanna Jones & Malene Skærved, and will include the premiere of 'Body Paint', a short film by Malene Skaerved about Joanna Jones' work process.

Roger Redgate – 2 Caprices
Poul Ruders – Summers Prelude & Winter’s Fugue
Nicola LeFanu – Prelude after Grinling Gibbons
Michael Alec Rose – Il Ritorno

Form. Story. Environment. Peter leads a conversation with two of his long time collaborators. How Artist Joanna Jones is internationally renowned for her large scale abstracts, and is the founder of Dover Arts Development, which has put contemporary art at the heart of a community for over a decade. Writer Malene Skærved, who teaches at Goldsmiths’ Media Practice department, is a biographer, poet, and collaborates with composers on genre-busting meetings of words and music.
