This roundtable discussion brings together some of those who have participated in the eight previous events in the Treatise Project.

The Project, which kicked off at Goldsmiths in May, is designed to showcase the regenerative prowess of Cornelius Cardew’s ultra-permissive graphic score Treatise by presenting a wide variety of differing interpretations of the same group of pages.

The evening’s discussion, which focuses on the performers’ responses to Cardew’s designs, will be chaired by David Cline, Visiting Research Fellow in the Contemporary Music Research Unit.
