Rose Frain "My Off-Piste Artist Room", exhibition featuring elements from across the artist's oeuvre and new works.

The exhibition Rose Frain My Off-Piste Artist Room features elements from projects spanning several decades of practice, including at the V&A ( 2014-’15), Goldsmiths (2011) and Venice (2019).

Rose Frain’s ongoing project is This Time in History, What Escapes, citing critical moments. Materials and formats are in response to the demands of the idea and realised to communicate directly by various routes, including to the unconscious and viscerally.

Her Off-piste Artist Room is an exhibition space open to visitors by invitation and also a mobile project travelling to Venice, London, Alexandria and Newcastle.

Book Launch
The launch of the survey book ROSE FRAIN will take place on 14 November along with the exhibition preview. This hardback publication, with extensive colour images and artist-authored texts, presents eighteen major projects. Other works are referenced in a full chronology; critical context is provided in a series of related essays.

Edited by Jane Warrilow, designed by James Brook and published by Sissy Graffiti. The book has been realised with an award from Creative Scotland.
