Talking Textiles is a get-together for anybody interested in textiles and curious to find out more about the Goldsmiths Textile Collection.

For this iteration of Talking Textiles we will be viewing and discussing the Goldsmiths Textile Collection’s selection of woven textiles produced by the Nuno Corporation, Japan.

This will be followed by a screening of ‘The Weavers of Nishijin’ directed by Toshio Matsumoto (1961).

Silvia Bombardini, Journalist and film Curator, will both introduce and lead a discussion around this short documentary film over tea and coffee.
