Gwanwoo Min, Delaney Faulkner, Daniele Meksraityte announce their coming Exhibition based on Youth.

Gwanwoo Min, Delaney Faulkner, Daniele Meksraityte present their OCULUS Exhibition & Networking Event. The theme of the exhibition is Youth. People spend time with their friends. They fall in love. They enjoy their lives. Sometimes, they make mistakes. Questions like “Who am I” could appear to them. Artists show their Youth in the exhibition with different style and interpretation in the exhibition.

From 6 to 9:30 PM on 3 March 2020, there is an event at the exhibition. Group of musicians and performers come to the event and make the show. Band, DJ, Drag performer... etc. It is a networking event so that people can find future artists and art curators.

YBAs (Young British Artists) are group of artists who played an important role in the development of British art. In the late 1980s, starting with Damien Hirst, other fellow Goldsmiths students, such as Sarah Lucas, Angus Fairhurst and Michael Landy introduced their work to the world. Inspired by them, group of Arts Management students in

Goldsmiths thought that it would be nice to find some talented artists in Goldsmiths. It is likely that students in second or third years could develop their artworks during the time in Goldsmiths. However, Oculus limited the participants to first-year students as less opportunities they had, compared to the time and energy they have.

Interesting characteristic of the exhibition is that it is a £100 project. Although it may not be a small figure, preparing an exhibition/event with £100 is a difficult task. Funded project by ICCE, the group was not allowed to get any more funding from other organisations.
