A workshop for anyone thinking of starting an online service-based business, or has an existing business of this type that you’re looking to move online

If you’re thinking of starting an online freelance or service-based business, or have an existing business of this type and you’re looking to move it online, this workshop is for you.

More than ever, it’s important to protect your business with a strategy that gives you the flexibility to generate income online.
In the current climate, businesses able to operate online, as well as offline will thrive.

At this workshop we'll cover the things you'll need to consider, including:
• Business skills and strategy for the online business world
• Preparing a simple business plan
• Practical tips to help you with marketing and sales
• Helpful links, tools and resources for running a freelance, or consulting business
• By the end of the workshop, you will have many more options, ideas and practical information to help you take your online business forward

Trainer:
Kay Kukoyi CSM FITOL is a software delivery specialist, global tech startup mentor, author, speaker, and lecturer. She has written five books for SMEs and entrepreneurs, including the Amazon international bestsellers, Develop Your Idea! and Don't Hire a Software Developer Until You Read this Book. More recently she has been mentoring SME’s that Goldsmiths have been working with as part of the DEK Business Growth Programme.

Kay speaks at conferences, and judges at startup competitions, and has been recognised by the Financial Times and Inclusive Boards as one of the 100 Most Influential BAME Leaders in the UK Technology Sector. Kay is the founder and CEO of Purposeful Group, and Tech Startup Academy™ - a community and centre for learning which has served entrepreneurs on five continents, providing books, mentoring, workshops, and programmes that support tech startup founders around the world as they build their businesses from scratch.
