We invite you to join us in the Goldsmiths MA Visual Anthropology Degree show.

The Goldsmiths MA Visual Anthropology 2021 students present A Screening of Short Films, a showcase of their dissertation works. The screening will take place on Saturday 16th of October from 11:00 am to 8:30 pm in LG02 (Stuart Hall Building) at Goldsmiths University of London.

Engaging with anthropological inquiry in a variety of ways, the showcase will reflect on the many possibilities offered by the visual, with methodologies and perspectives ranging from the autoethnographic modes of storytelling to observational, experimental and sensorial documentaries.

The screening will allow this group of films to create unprecedented connections through conversations embedded in different experiences of interiority for human and non-human beings. Adopting different lenses on conceptions of temporality, intimacy, identity and care in various and interconnected spheres, the films will engage with the subjective as a pertinent site of knowledge production.
