The first NEUROLIVE Salon offers a chance to meet artists Seke Chimutengwende & Steph McMann, who create the first NEUROLIVE commissioned dance production, Detective Work.

The first NEUROLIVE Salon offers a chance to talk with and hear from the artists who are currently creating the first NEUROLIVE commissioned work.

Choreographer Seke Chimutengwende is in the process of creating Detective Work in collaboration with dance artist Steph McMann, leading towards their upcoming performances at Siobhan Davies Studios in November. In this Salon, they will be in conversation with Matthias Sperling (Artistic Director of NEUROLIVE) and Guido Orgs (Scientific Director of NEUROLIVE) about what they are working on and how they are finding the process so far.

NEUROLIVE Salons are an occasional series of conversations exploring artistic questions and perspectives around the 5-year NEUROLIVE research project. Each Salon invites one or more guest artists to open up conversations on different ways of understanding liveness and its investigation, and welcomes anyone interested in the artistic aspects of the NEUROLIVE project to attend and join the conversation.
