Join us live online on YouTube for tonight's show from the Electronic Music Studios

Shane dB is a PhD Music research student in Goldsmiths researching the role of the Digital Audio Workstation in electronic music production. Previously known for his pioneering and highly influential Independent record label in the late 1980s/early 90s that specialised in hardcore, punk and grindcore - Manic Ears Records and a favourite of the late John Peel at that time. Shane left the independent music industry in 1992 to pursue academic interests and has written dissertations on the production of electronic music in his studies from 1997 to this day. Shane specialises in production of the underground 'Techno' genre of electronic music and produces a Techno mix show - Transmission from the Black Hole which is racking up huge plays on HearThis and Apple, Google and Deezer podcasts.
