Event overview
'Launching Points' is offered by Margaret Jennings as a socially engaged immersive Ecoart film.
The film offers local 'Urbanside Walks' as focused curiosity driven stimuli.
This aims towards triggering a resensitising process, to consider everyday 'nature-habitat' and other biodiverse intelligences that might otherwise be passed by or taken for granted.
Themed photographic urban eco-observations are linked directly to four deeply held environmental and sustainability concerns requiring positive forward thinking actions. They chime with UN Goals, including Climate Emergency, Life in Cities, Wellbeing and Education.
Opportunity to share further in this community project is suggested by commitment to
eco-active handwritten pledges.
The screening will be shown in Goldsmiths Library Special Collections throughout Welcome Week until Fri 30 Sep.
