Discover politics as you’ve never seen it before as we follow activists in Britain’s safest Labour seat, Liverpool Walton, as they campaign for change.

The feature-length documentary, Manifesto depicts the work of party politics away from the Westminster bubble, with the film's director and one of the lead characters travelling from Liverpool to join us for a discussion of the gritty differences between grassroots activism and grander politics on a national stage.

This third instalment of the Media Forum Series will include a Q&A with the film director and youth co-ordinator of the Walton Labour Party.

Key speakers include:

– Daniel Draper, director of Manifesto, who once lived in Walton
– Michael Hardy, a former youth coordinator of the Labour Party’s Walton constituency

#goldmediaforum - Debate, dispute, discuss: journalism uncovered

We will address topical, often controversial issues about journalism and current affairs coverage of hot-button issues.
