Daniel Lei performs on the dizi (traditional bamboo flute) with Eleanor Meynell (piano)
Traditional and 20th century composed music for the dizi, including folkloric settings ('The Little Shepherd’s Piccolo', 'In a Market') and Zhiang Weiliang’s sonata-like 'The Sea of South China' for dizi and piano.

An intimate and eclectic cabaret, featuring songs by Kurt Weill, Hildegard of Bingen, Madeleine Dring, The Smiths, a new choral setting by John Rutter, and an extract from Schoenberg’s 'Pierrot Lunaire'.
