The Department of Theatre & Performance proudly presents the final degree show of the 2023 cohort of the MA Performance Making programme.
Verge Festival is a captivating showcase of performances exploring the ruminations on transformation and change. Eight companies will present new works, including live art, theatre, installations and interactive art. These artists will explore themes ranging from utopia/dystopia, speculative futures, subversion of gender norms, nature and decolonisation.
Audiences can expect to experience worlds where technology meets the human spirit, where boundaries dissolve, and where the power of transformation shines through. This three-day festival showcase will challenge conventional perceptions of performance art, ignite conversations, and introduce a new generation of artists on the verge of disrupting the future world of performance.
