Join us for a fascinating event with Diane Louise Jordan, as she takes us on a journey through the history of Black Britain.

Part of ICCE's Sustainable Enterprise London Festival.

Diane Louise Jordan will be in conversation with Siân Prime and will discuss the creation of the oral history project: Making of Black Britain.

To be part of history, and shape the future, someone needs to hear your story and remember it. The Making of Black Britain oral history project is dedicated to telling those stories. To capture the everyday of everyone; every colour, class, and creed, from generation to generation – the real people who make up Britain today.
And through this, learn how Black Britain emerged, reflecting the changing landscape of our nation – a label that has much to say about us all.

Diane is a well-known broadcaster and presenter, and first Black presenter for UK's Blue Peter, and has a wealth of knowledge and experience to share. She'll be talking about the inspiration for the oral history project Making of Black Britain. This is both in-person and online, so you'll have the opportunity to meet Diane (she will be online) and ask her any questions you may have
