Mandy Berry, on Tue Jul 04 2023, at 11 am speaks about valuable insights on how to navigate start-up and sustain a creative enterprise

Join ICCE, Goldsmiths' Sustainable Enterprise London Festival with Mandy Berry on Tue Jul 04 2023 at 11:00:00 GMT+0100 (British Summer Time) for an online event that will provide valuable insights on how to navigate start-up and sustaining a creative enterprise. She will also reflect on the different opportunities in starting an enterprise with London.

Mandy is a senior executive and entrepreneur with a wide experience of the creative and cultural industries, working across the digital media, entertainment and arts sectors. She has set up and led innovative companies and projects exploring new thinking and innovation, products and services in both the public and private sectors.

She advises companies, organisations and individuals on areas including strategy, leadership, change, partnerships and public and private finance.

Mandy’s early career was in East London, ranging from drama workshops and street theatre to running community based projects across multiple arts forms. She co-founded a major charity supporting economic growth, diversity and inclusion, helping marginalised young people gain opportunities in London’s creative and digital industries. She has worked closely with senior business leaders, public bodies and government at ministerial level and forged strong cross-sectoral partnerships. She developed a centre in London’s digital heart, Soho, a space for collaboration between the converging audio-visual and interactive digital media sectors and helped set up the London Games Fringe Festival. She was co-founder and CEO of a digital filmed media distribution service for non cinema venues.

Mandy now mainly lives in Cornwall but is frequently in London. She is Chair of Miracle Theatre, trustee of Creative Kernow Cornwall’s largest creative hub, Director of Screen Cornwall and a member of the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Local Enterprise Partnership’s Creative Industries Task Force.
