Event overview
Final exhibition for students on MA in Arts and Learning at 288 New Cross Road.
On this programme students critically reflect upon and evaluate their own practices (artistic and pedagogic) in relation to contemporary artist educators and artists’ work presented at international sites/centres, such Tate, Whitechapel Gallery, Gasworks, Goldsmiths Centre for Contemporary Art. Students on the MAAL engage with issues regarding dialectical and critical theories, pedagogies and art practices.
In the making of this exhibition, students have drawn together artistic and pedagogical practices for the production of new work and research. This follows a process of sustained practical and theoretical enquiry which reflects on the changing nature of the relationship between contemporary art and pedagogy.
