Event overview
It's never too late to learn! Come along to our community event to learn about short courses, foundation years and studying a degree as a mature student at university.
You are invited to Goldsmiths' first Mature Students Discover Day! Taking place on Wednesday 18th October 2023 and organised by Goldsmiths Widening Participation Team and Open Book Project.
This event is designed for community members interested in learning more about short courses, foundation years and undergraduate and post-graduate degrees. Come along for a cup of tea or coffee and chat to the Open Book Team, Widening Participation Team and some of our current mature students and get the answers to your questions about accessing higher education answered. Whether you want to hear more about what the university experience is like, have questions about financing your education, or want to know more about the paths you can take to access higher education – we will do our best to answer these queries for you.
The aim of the event is to give our community members the information and confidence they may need to take next steps in their career or education journey, wherever or however that may be!
The event is completely free! Email discovergold@gold.ac.uk to register your attendance.
Free refreshments will be available.
If you have any questions about the event at all, please email us at discovergold@gold.ac.uk
