Are you interested in working in political communications, public affairs, campaigns, party politics or related fields? If so, you may find this talk very useful.

We'll hear from five alumni of MA Political Communications who now work in different branches of the political communications industry. They will speak about their jobs, how they got there, the kinds of skills involved and any advice they’d offer to those starting out.

Speakers:

Eden Gill-Holder, Creative Producer at The Glimpse Collective (a campaigns consultancy)

Seán Hickey, Content Editor at PoliticsJOE (video-based, youth-focused, left-leaning online current affairs news)

Claddagh McLoughlin, Public Affairs and Communications Officer at the International Centre of Justice for Palestinians and Policy Research Associate (Automation, Autonomy and Regional Inequalities) at the Institute for the Future of Work and the Pissarides Review

Max Thrower, Political Assistant to the Green Group on Bristol City Council (and candidate to be a city councillor for the Green Party)

Liam Shrivastava, Elected councillor for New Cross Gate
