This workshop on skills in contemporary music is open to all to observe.

Featuring students from the MMus in Performance pathway:
Jack Jones — Liza Lim: Wild Winged One, solo trumpet
Luzy Havelock — Desmond Clarke: title tbc, sax & electronics
Izzy Rawa & Niamh Gallagher: Tyler Futrell: Pas de deux, violin & performer
Kirke Gross — Isaiah Ceccarelli: With concord of sweet sounds, solo cello

This masterclass will be taught by musicians from the London Sinfonietta through their Academy Pathways scheme. The session will focus on contemporary performance techniques and practices, and is open to all students to attend.

The London Sinfonietta Academy Pathways programme consists of three kinds of activity: workshops on skills in contemporary music, led by workshop leader Fraser Trainer; masterclasses on contemporary repertoire with London Sinfonietta musicians; and a rehearsal day as a London Sinfonietta sized ensemble, focusing on core pieces of contemporary repertoire, with an informal performance at the end of the day.

Free, all welcome
