A one-day conference hosted by the British Sociological Association (BSA) New Materialisms study group.

Sociology and the New Materialisms is a one-day conference hosted by the BSA New Materialisms study group.

We are thrilled to be welcoming Professor EJ Renold (Cardiff University) who will be giving a keynote address on "Making the more-than of ‘what matters’: Unboxing relationships and sexuality education with a phEmaterialist arts-activist praxis".

This will be followed by a full programme of talks showcasing how sociology scholars are using new materialist thought in their research.

Please visit the BSA website for more details and to register (a registration fee applies): https://www.britsoc.co.uk/events/key-bsa-events/sociology-and-the-new-materialisms/
