Event overview
STANDBY includes the final work of students on BA Media and Communications, BA Journalism and BA Anthropology and Media
The work exhibited in this programme comes from various disciplines: animation, photography, radio, creative writing, screen fiction, documentary filmmaking, journalism, illustration, digital video for the web and interactive media.
Standby has been curated to share what we feel unites us, reflecting a mood and commitment shown on campus over the past three years, with myriad examples of unwavering solidarity demonstrated by students and staff alike.
Where solidarity is required, uncertainty is often a prerequisite. At times we have been held in a
state of standby as we wait for the unfolding of events both institutionally and globally.
As we emerge from this chapter, we now stand by in anticipation of the future – braced for the uncertainties we are yet to face, primed with skills, and hopeful for the innovative work that we will go on to produce.
