An Exhibition by Olivia Pelham Winner of the Christine Risley Award 2024.

Olivia is a multidisciplinary artist, graduating from BA Fine Art at Goldsmiths University.
Materially, her ideas and work are largely practised through weaving and fibre crafts. Her
work is also significanly influenced by the landscape of her hometown, Eastbourne, in East
Sussex. The South Downs and coastlines of the county are greatly relied upon and
appreciated for her practice. A great majority of materials used are foraged and collected
from these landscapes, for example, shells, stones, bindweed and sheep fleece handpicked
from farm fences.
