A series of workshops with Daniel Palacios González

Session 1: Capital, Empire and the Origin of Modern Monuments – 24th January, 2-4 pm, WT G01
Session 2 (visit): Geffrye Monument at the Museum of the Home – to be confirmed
Session 3: From Revolutionary Monuments to Counter Monuments – 31th January, 2-4 pm, WT G01
Session 4 (visit): International Brigades Monument at the Old Spotted Dog – to be confirmed
Session 5: Subversive Monuments and Radical Imagination – 14th February, 2-4 pm, WT G01

Daniel Palacios González is a Postdoctoral Researcher and Lecturer at the UNED, and previously, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Birkbeck, University of London. During the spring term of 2024-25, he will be a Research Fellow at the Visual Cultures Department at Goldsmiths. His book De fosas comunes a lugares de memoria (CEPC, 2022) received the Memory Studies Association First Book Award 2023.
