This exhibition demonstrates the development of the creative ideas of the artist Claire Frampton, taking pottery fragments as inspiration for textile design. Work in the exhibition includes mosaic, painted pottery and demonstration of a range of textile techniques, including appliqué, batik, free motion embroidery and crazy patchwork.
The exhibition will include a display of samples from the Goldsmiths Textile Collection which have similar aspects to the recent work in the exhibition.
