Join our departmental ensembles for a varied evening of music making - free gig, BYO and enjoy!

Tonight's gig features sets by the Goldsmiths Vocal Ensemble, The Chamber Orchestra, Laptop Ensemble, Improvisors Collective and Jazz Ensemble.

Goldsmiths Vocal Ensemble, led by Brenda Rattray
A sign of the times - featuring:
'Lord give me a sign,’ DMX
Whitney Houston, 'I will always love you,’
Marvin Gaye ‘Abraham Martin and John'

Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Alexis Bennett perform:
Beethoven: Symphony No. 6 "Pastoral" (movs. I + V)
Cécile Chaminade: Flute Concertino (soloist: Ellie Trent)
Sammartini: Recorder Concerto in F Major (soloist: Georgia Marriott)

Laptop Ensemble, led by Niamh and Aisling Gallagher
perform Lily Greenham's 'Overground Underground'

The Improvisors Ensemble, led by Iris Garrelfs, do their thang, with instruments ranging from flute and accordion to objects and electronics via Persian stringed instruments and vocals.
