Remembering Marcus Moziah Garvey 85 years on

Join us for a special event commemorating the legacy of Marcus Moziah Garvey.

We will be gathering at Room 137a - Richard Hoggart Building (RHB), Goldsmiths University, London to honor the life and work of this influential man.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about Garvey's impact, family tree and documents that have never been seen whilst connecting with individuals who have a family connection and have been inspired by his life and legacy.

Come and learn about the work being actioned by Cultural & Ancestral Genealogist Selena Carty who has been exploring the genealogy of with Dr.Julius Garvey (the son of Marcus & Amy 'Jacques' Garvey). Selena will be sharing the importance of Genealogy and preserving our modern histories and how our contributions inspire local and global communities.

Don't miss out on this chance to pay tribute to a true visionary!
