Event overview
A workshop of the "A day with..." series of the Structural Economic Analysis Unit
"A day with..." workshops start with a keynote lecture, followed by sets of remarks by speakers from different backgrounds and perspectives, who engage with the themes of the keynote from their own viewpoint. The keynote and remarks are then discussed in a general roundtable with the audience.
The aim is to engage in depth with the keynote speaker and to encourage participants to apply their categories and analytical tools to new problems or perspectives. The format will facilitate exchanges of views that are deeper, less constrained and more multidirectional than in the standard seminar format.
Keynote speaker: Professor Zhifu Mi, Professor of Climate Change Economics at UCL.
Title: "The impacts of fertility and retirement policies on China’s carbon emissions"
Remarks will be given by:
- Dr Andres Lazzarini, Senior Lecturer in Economics at Goldsmiths and member of the Structural Economic Analysis Unit;
- Professor Roberto Scazzieri, Professor of Economic Analysis at the University of Bologna, National Fellow of Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, and Visiting Research Fellow at the Structural Economic Analysis Unit.
