Imogen Piper is a Visual Forensics reporter in The Washington Post’sInvestigations team. She specialises in combining open-source research with visual analytical techniques such as 3D modelling, mapping and satellite analysis. Her reporting on the war in Gaza recently won the Overseas Press Club Shireen Abu Akleh award and was a Pulitzer Prize finalist. Before joining The Post, Imogen worked as an investigator at civilian harm monitor Airwars and studied at Goldsmiths University, receiving an MA in Research Architecture and a BA in Design.
