Event overview
Public programme lecture with Most Dismal Swamp
Emerging from the curation, artwork, and research of Dane Sutherland, Most Dismal Swamp’s multimedia projects involve collaboration and convivial speculation with many other artists. These projects are modular and densely populated, presented across various immersive and bespoke installations and online; Multi-User Shared Hallucinations dredged from the slumgullion swamp of adversarial digital, platform, and neural media. Dane will introduce the work and methodology of Most Dismal Swamp, from early projects up to the current exhibition The Bastard Fields which is now open in London until mid-December.
Most Dismal Swamp’s work has been presented at Kunsthal Charlottenborg, Copenhagen (2024); KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin (2024); /slash arts, San Francisco (2022); Hellerau, Dresden (2022); MIRA Festival of Digital Arts, Barcelona (2021); Gossamer Fog, London (2019); and Arebyte, London (2019). Dane Sutherland lives and works in London.
