Artist Film Screening

Deep Focus is a periodic screening event that supports artist moving image. The theme of this edition is 'Indescribable Feelings'.

"What is this indescribable feeling? I get it regularly and no matter how long it lasts and I sit trying to put words to it, I'm no closer to being able to explain this sensation. It always changes, it can be good or bad, but it never stays for long". (Question found on Quora)

Poets, writers, playwrights, philosophers, artists, researchers and internet users alike have challenged themselves with same quest - capturing in a language understood by all that which is often impossible to name, those immaterial things e keep inside. "However good the description, there is ultimately something about what-it-is-like qualities of first-person experience that language fails to capture." (Dora Zhang, 2014)
