DIGITAL METHODS MASTERCLASS: Best Practices for Doing Safe Research Hosted by the Methods Lab + the Centre Investigative Journalism
In collaboration with the Centre for Investigative Journalism, Methods Lab is hosting a bespoke data security methods session.

Participants will learn how to:
- Browse the web more safely
- Conduct safe online searches on sensitive topics (to avoid being red-flagged)
- Encrypt sensitive communications
- Secure personal data
- Protect respondents’ anonymity
- Conduct threat assessments,
- Use end-to-end encrypted communication tools
The session is free . Reserve a place by emailing k.jungnickel@gold.ac.uk
