Event overview
Natasa Petresin Bachelez, Head of Curatorial for the project the Public Art Abu Dhabi, will give us a short presentation followed by Q+A
This short presentation of the project Public Art Abu Dhabi, initiated by the Department of Culture and Tourism, Abu Dhabi, launched in 2022, will present the specific nature of the public space of the Abu Dhabi Emirate: its multi-national, multi-species, urban and technological fabric that has been interwoven with the care for the natural ecosystems on one side and with the legacy of the modern heritage on the other side, since decades. Two major events that the Public Art Abu Dhabi brings alternately each year, the Biennial and the Manar, will also be shortly presented as new initiatives to relate to the very diverse, local, regional and international visitors.
