Lunchtime minimalism! Bring your own food and drinks and listen to classic recordings of music by influential composer Steve Reich before his 90th on 3 October.
Fancy a different lunchtime break? Come into the Great Hall and immerse yourself in a selection of music written by Steve Reich, described by the New Yorker as “the most original musical thinker of our time”.
Music to include:
'Come Out'
'Music for 18 Musicians', the 1976 work widely credited as one of his finest, which Bowie hailed as “a tonetrack into the future”.
'Ngoya Marimbas'
'It's Gonna Rain'
'Electric Counterpoint'
