'Revisiting Postcolonialism' - A public lecture.
The distinguished Professor Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak will be a visiting speaker for the MA in Postcolonial Studies at Goldsmiths Centre for Cultural Studies.
Professor Spivak will give a public lecture on Thursday 8 November. 5pm-7pm.
Title: 'Revisiting Postcolonialism'. Venue: Great Hall, Richard Hoggart Building (RHB).
We will also host the launch of some of her new books on 9 November at 2pm. This event will now take place in Goldsmiths Ben Pimlot Lecture Theatre (not Cinema as previously advertised).
Professor Spivak's visit is hosted by the Centre for Cultural Studies, MA Postcolonialism, with generous support from Goldsmiths' Departments of Media and Communications and Politics, and the Graduate School, and Blackwells Bookshop and Wiley Blackwell Publishing.
Ticket reservation not necessary.
