The VTB Capital Prize for Young Cellists

Adjudicators:

Alexander Ivashkin ( Chair), Peter Krajniak (Artistic Director, Janacek Philharmonia), Thomas Morgan (Head of planning, Wigmore Hall ), Simon Morris ( Director , J & A Beare), Philippe Muller ( Professor of Cello, Paris Conservatoire), Natalia Pavlutskaya (Professor of Cello, Trinity College of Music /The Purcell School), Timothy Walker ( Artistic Director, London Philharmonic Orchestra)

The competition is open to cellist aged 30 and under on 27 April 2009.

Semifinals: Saturday, 25 April 2009, 10:45 am – 5:30 pm
