An exhibition around 'The Forgiveness Project', including videos, and speakers sharing their own journey in forgiveness following dramatic events in their lives.

We have booked the Great Hall for Monday 27 and Tuesday 28 October 2008. There will be an exhibition around 'The Forgiveness Project', including videos, and speakers sharing their own journey in forgiveness following dramatic events in their lives. Here is the programme for the two days:

Monday 27 October

11.00am Opening of the exhibition:

-Journey through the stories of 60 people, and printings of paintings and drawings.
- DVDs about Forgiveness in South Africa, in Burundi, and in the Israel/Palestine conflict.

12.00 DVD from Archbishop Desmond Tutu

1.00pm Talk by Janet: Reconstructing her life after being raped by a criminal breaking in her house

1.45pm Discussion: reactions from the public

2.00pm Janet is available for informal meetings

4.00pm DVD from Julie, an Israeli flight attendant shot in a terrorist attack at Heathrow Airport

5.30pm Talk by Peter Woolf, former career criminal, author of the book ‘The damage done’. Peter now works for restorative justice

6.15pm Discussion: reactions from the public

6.45pm Theatre performance by the group Rise, ‘The dry bones’, followed by a discussion and reactions from the audience

7.30pm Closure of day one of the exhibition

Tuesday 28 October

11.00am Opening

1.15pm Mime by Steve Murray, ‘Behold’, followed by discussion with Steve

4.00pm DVD from Archbishop Desmond Tutu

4.30pm Mime by Steve Murray, discussion with Steve

5.30pm Talk by Richard Levy: Richard was travelling in carriage n1 on Piccadilly Line on July 7 2005 when the bomb exploded. He was badly injured and burnt.

6.15pm Discussion with Richard Levy

6.45pm Mime by Steve Murray
