The reading context of McSweeney's

In this session of the Goldsmiths Literature Seminars (GLITS), Kevin O'Neill (PhD student, Goldsmiths) will be presenting the paper 'The Shapeshifting Book: McSweeney's and its reading context', based on his current research.

McSweeney's is a pioneering American literary journal (see link for more information). Kevin will be discussing issues including the aesthetic identity of periodicals and how McSweeney's articulates its audience in its texts.

The session starts at 6pm in the Seminar Room of Hatcham House, running til approximately 7.30pm, with refreshments following.
