Event overview
Learn how to create and edit content for your departmental website without worrying about how it appears, where the files are stored or about complex HTML coding.
T4 Site Manager is the College’s web-based Content Management System (CMS). Because it is web-based you should not need any additional software installed on your computer. To access the system you need a username and password which will be sent to you shortly before the course by the Web Team.
Pre-requisites
* Familiarity with the Web and basic ability to use a Web browser
* An account set up on the CMS server - details will be sent to your College email account before the course by the Web Team.
* Permission to edit and/or create departmental web pages as agreed by your department.
Learning Outcome Targets
At the end of the session you should be aware of how to:
* How the CMS works.
* Edit already existing departmental web pages.
* Create new departmental web pages.
* Add 'media' files to the CMS.
