The Department of Music at Goldsmiths has a residency from the H2 Dance Company who will be collaborating with the Vocal Ensemble, directed by Eska Mtungwazi.

'h2dance' is currently developing new performance work titled Choir Project in collaboration with composer Sylvia Hallett. Working with various choirs, professional and amateur groups during residences throughout 2009 and 10 to develop a performance script that can travel to different choirs and be performed in a variety of settings, the production is premiering during the NICE Festival, November 2010 in Liverpool.

The theme of the piece is freedom of speech looking at each group's views on the topic.

If anyone is interested in taking part in this project, please contact Simon Deacon, email: s.deacon@gold.ac.uk
