The Nyx Ensemble make a welcome return to the Music Department in Term 1, performing classics of 20th century music.

Arvo Pärt: Cantus in Memory of Benjamin Britten
Henryk Górecki: Symphony of Sorrowful Songs (2nd mvt.)
Aaron Copland: Threnodies
John Cage: String Quartet in 4 Parts

The Nyx Ensemble are a collective of musicians from Goldsmiths past and present, interested in bringing new and exciting music to their audience.
Performers: Alex Eichenberger, Nicky Enderby, Mikee Reed, Dave Scarlett, Marcos Vila, Suzie Anderson, Mel Powell, Clare Larkman, Simon Wheeler, Ally Taylor, Mercedes Marcesa, Alys Hewer, Zanna Baker, Jenny Sutton, Sam Ricketts, Chris Augustine, Kevin White, Charlotte King and Mario Sofraniou.
